Born in 1927 in Dunmore to Stanley and Mary Sammon Andres, she was predeceased by her parents, and by her sister, Jeanne Andres Loftus. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church. Margret was an extremely proud person, her happiest times reflected around her three sons going to church with her on Sunday, that was some of her proudest moments.

He was subsequently promoted to Supervisor of Special Education where he excelled in his role until his retirement in 2015. She belonged to the Laurel Garden Club , and went to Horticulture classes to learn the love of flowers, where she ended up giving up her time to beautify peoples yards and businesses. She gave some of her time to help people feel comfortable, cared for, and loved at St. Mary’s Villa, the Jewish Home, and Holy Family. Born in Dunmore, she was the daughter of the late Elias and Mary Galisen Hryshko, she was a graduate of Dunmore High School and worked for Grove Textile in her younger days. She was the former owner of Reilly Landscaping with her husband Thomas and then passed it on to their son, Daniel. She began work at Scranton’s Globe Store in 1957, from which she retired in the late 1970s.

Prior to retirement he worked at the Scranton State Office building as a facilitator for Children and Youth and as an advocate for blind pension of Lackawanna County. Beloved by his clients, he would pray with them and visit with them on his own time. Suzanne M. Cummings of Scranton died Monday at Marywood Heights, Scranton. Born November 28, 1941, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Blanche Elliot Cummings and was a graduate of the Chapel school. Prior to retirement, she worked for her family’s grocery store “Cummings Grocery Store” which was located on Taylor Avenue in the Hill section of Scranton.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Samuel Cali Insurance Agency, Dunmore. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Seraphin C. Wandalowski, MD and Josephine Bartkowski Wandalowski. He was a deeply devoted Catholic and a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Scranton. Kenneth was a graduate of Scranton Central High School where he excelled in both football and baseball. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton.

Prior to retirement, she worked in the financial aid department of Marywood University and most recently worked at Sanderson Place, Scranton. After his military service, Frank continued to serve military veterans as a Disabled Veterans Employment Representative with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor. Serving his community, Frank held the position as Scott Township Manager/Zoning Officer. Frank J. Paris, 82, Major, U.S. Army retired, originally from Scranton, PA, passed away on December 10, 2021 in Spring Hill, FL. He died as he lived, courageously. And Yolanda Antignoli Paris of Scranton, PA. A graduate of St. Patrick’s HS and the University of Scranton, Frank retired from the U.S. He served 2 tours of duty in Europe and numerous military instillations throughout the United States.

Tom was a 1974 graduate of Scranton Preparatory High School. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Scranton. Anthony and Rocco Parish in Dunmore and a former member of Christ the King Parish in Dunmore. He was the President of Swinick Homes and Swinick Realty Company. He was also a member of the San Cataldo Club in Dunmore and Lackawanna County Home Builders Association. Frank is also survived by his sister Lois A. Mallick and brother Louis M. Paris and their families and his longtime companion Loretta Bonham.

The family would like to thank and extend their deepest appreciation to Dr. Eric Smith, Dr. Ferdinand Manahan and VNA Hospice, especially Karen Brady and Connie Jones for the great care they took of Ralph especially this past year. His greatest pride and joy was being “Papa” to Drew, Abby and Caden. He was seen frequently in the stands at all of their baseball, softball and soccer games.
