Watching Grace, who was so charming in That ’70s Show, and Faris, you’re thinking, Wait — aren’t they a little too old for all this? Grace played a sharp young business exec in 2004’s In Good Company, after all. Seven years later, we’re supposed to buy that he just got out of college? The back story here is that Take Me Home Tonight wrapped years ago, in 2007, but that it’s been on the shelf or in test audience hell ever since. The reason Grace and others have given in interviews is that the film’s recreational cocaine use presented a problem. Ironic, then, that it is finally being released at a time when virtually the entire country is having a laugh over — or maybe with — Charlie Sheen, the seemingly unrepentant drug abuser who just happened to be a quintessential 1980s star.
It's almost more competitive in Australia because there are far fewer projects and many, many, many talented actors all vying for these roles. We maybe only make ten movies a year--and five of them are decent. It's quite sad, so when we run out of roles in Australia, we flock over the United States, but luckily for us Aussies we've had amazing Aussie actors come before and sort of pave the way, like Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman. Nostalgia-drenched setting can't save this cliched dud
Kristen is definitely going to play Bella for a long while. But they're thinking about switching actresses for after she is a vampire. I just say load on the makeup, because Kristen is just so talented. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT KRISTEN STEWART IS PLAYING BELLA CULLEN BECAUSE THE TRAILERS AND THERE WOULD NOT BE AS GOOD AS CHEMISTRY IF THEY DID SWITCH THE ACTORS. Like I said, the format is not original but the content was well done. The painful awkward moments were very painful and awkward, the funny bits were very funny, you felt there was a connection there (albeit a one way connection at first since it's that kind of a movie), and it didn't seem forced .
There is something impressive about Palmer always finding work even though she looks so much like a very blond Kristen Stewart. Topher Grace stars as recent MIT grad Matt Franklin, a man undecided as to career path and temporarily employed at a mall video store, a subject of endless consternation for his parents. Taking place over one long night, the film follows good-guy Matt, his sister Wendy , and his foul-mouthed BFF Barry as they attend two parties, snort a not inconsiderable amount of blow, and pursue romantic fulfillment. In Matt’s case, this path to happiness means wooing his high school crush, Tori Frederking by pretending to be in the same line of work as her—Investment banking, the go-to job in the go-go ’80s—before winning her over with his charms.

It could be the actors, it could be the familiar plot, or it could be fantastic soundtrack but Take Me Home Tonight looks to be a lighthearted pleasure. A cursory glance of a movie like Take Me Home Tonight may suggest that it is nothing more than a silly comedy about a crazy night and a guy who is down on his luck trying to get the girl of his dreams by the end of the night. Topher Grace is awesome and to this day, I do not understand how Ashton Kutcher was the guy from That 70s Show who became the big star because Topher Grace is clearly the more talented one. Though by no means a recent phenomenon, the 1980s continue to hold enormous sway over the imaginations of contemporary filmmakers, many of whom grew up during that decade. Will they use the actress played as Bella in new moon eclipse and breaking dawn? Kristen Stewart is the actress that played Bella in Twilight, and she is signed on to play her for New Moon and Eclipse.
Take Me Home Tonight: ’80s Nostalgia, with Cocaine

You've got to see the trailer for "Take Me Home Tonight." Even if you weren't even born yet in 1988, there is so much to cherish.
Maybe star Topher Grace was right when he said in a recent interview that the original studio flinched at all the cocaine abuse; the movie is set in the 1980s, with the requisite big hair, shoulder pads, and nose candy of choice. Even though the film is named after the Eddie Money song, “Take Me Home Tonight” the song does not play in the movie. When Take Me Home Tonight was filming in early 2007, Anna Faris was married to Ben Indra. By the time the film was released in March of 2011, she had been married to her Take Me Home Tonight co-star Chris Pratt for almost two years.
Palmer played a stripper in the film and she and Bale first met at the strip club where filming took place. Palmer spontaneously told him a convincing back story for her character. He ale didn't realize she was an actress, and not a professional stripper, until he recognized her face on a movie billboard a week after he filmed the scene with her.
He plays Matt Franklin, just graduated from MIT, paralyzed with indecision and working at a video store in Los Angeles. It’s 1988, and all the ambitious kids are getting jobs at Drexel Burnham, so when Matt’s onetime crush Tori Frederking sashays into the mall, he steps out of uniform and pretends he’s at Goldman Sachs. Finally, there is Dan Fogler as the wacky best friend who gets himself into the weirdest situations, this time with Angie Everhart who I forgot existed until I saw this trailer. Take Me Home Tonight has all the elements of a classic comedy about a guy stuck in a rut but with the help of his best friend, lets loose and has a memorable night.
She and her husband got engaged on the set of The Ever After , in which they played a conflicted married couple. It is sure that Bella Swan will lead the role Bella Cullen? If you mean is it sure Kirsten Stewart will play Bella than I'll answer that.
She was just lovely, and really endearing, and offered me some words of wisdom. There's a show back home called "Getaway", which is all these beautiful girls, and they go to all these incredible places around the world, and they report from these places. They get to go on holidays, and also get to be a TV presenter.
That said, it’s nice to see Anna Faris as Matt’s twin sister. She has some of the lazy, drop-dead humor of “That 70s Show,’’ not surprising since the show’s writers scripted this movie. And Palmer does interesting things with the rote part of The Girl. She comes across as Kristen Stewart with a personality rather than an attitude, and since she’s currently stealing “I Am Number 4’’ out from under its putative stars, she can be said to have moved on.
